Prolong the Magic of Summer: How I Transition My Jewels into Autumn

As summer fades into fall, I find myself holding onto the magic of sun-soaked days through my favorite jewels. The warmth of the sun might be slipping away, but with the right pieces, I carry that summer bliss forward, no matter the season. For me, the beauty of my jewelry lies in its ability to move seamlessly between seasons—whether I’m layering delicate gold chains over a cozy sweater or letting my talismans peek out from an open button-down.

When the temperature cools, it’s time to get creative with how you wear your jewelry. Full disclosure: I often wear the exact same looks over long sleeve looks or bathing suits. • The Large Boheme Clicker as Scarf Tie For a fun and clever styling trick, I love to use our Large Boheme Clicker to add charm (pun intended)  to your scarf look. Roll your scarf into a skinny rectangle, slide both pointy ends into the large Boheme Clicker slide it up where it comfortably hugs the scarf around your neck.  Add charms or wear as is and voila! • Mix Chunky and Dainty Chains Layering different thicknesses of chains is a favorite trick of mine. The contrast between a chunky chain and a more delicate one keeps them from tangling and adds depth to your look. To keep it fresh (pun intended) for Fall, I like to keep them at shorter lengths when paired with a high neckline.

• Bracelets Over Sweater Sleeves Don’t be afraid to wear your bracelets over your cashmere sweater sleeve. It’s a chic and unexpected way to show off your wrist stacks while keeping cozy.

Choosing Talismans for Transformation and Rebirth

• The Skull Yes, it’s a spooky statement, but skulls aren't just about Halloween—Skulls are powerful symbols of change and rebirth, and they have always whispered comfort to me. • The Lotus One of my favorite symbols, the lotus is a flower that blooms even in muddy waters. It represents transformation and growth, and I love wearing it as a talisman during times of transition, like the shift from summer to fall, as it symbolizes the beauty of emerging from challenges with grace.

• The Snake Known for shedding its skin, the snake is a powerful symbol of transformation and rebirth. As the leaves fall and the air cools, wearing a snake reminds me of the power of renewal and personal growth.
  These talismans not only complement the season but also bring a deeper, personal meaning as we transition into autumn. Each time I wear them, I feel aligned with the natural cycles of transformation around me.

• The Phases of the Moon The moon, ever-changing yet constant, is another beautiful symbol of transformation. From new moon to full moon and back, the phases represent the cycles of growth, reflection, and renewal. I find that wearing a moon talisman reminds me that just like the moon, we are always evolving, moving through our own phases of growth and introspection. The Warm Glow of Summer, Always in Style

Sure, you can spice things up a bit by switching to Fall’s own palette of rich oranges and reds with honey citrines and warm cinnamon garnets. I do that too. But I still find myself drawn to the colors that remind me of summer—sea blues, lush greens, and the lavender fields of Provence. I believe that some treasures carry the magic of summer with them, no matter the time of year. The warm glow of sunny 18k gold is never out of season, and I love how solid recycled and fairmined gold feels against my skin as the days get cooler. One of my favorite gemstones is turquoise. Its striking blue hues remind me of tropical waters, and it always feels like I’m carrying a little piece of summer with me. I wear it all year, and it's no mystery to me why turquoise is the birthstone for December, warming up one of our coldest months here in the northern hemisphere. Much like dried lavender carries its healing scent into the fall, this stone, especially when set in sunny gold, holds the light and warmth of summer, a golden reminder that while the seasons may change, beauty and meaning endure.
