Order, Shipping & Return Policies

The information below applies to products purchased at www.delphineleymarie.com, in person at pop-up events, or by phone at 212.537.5769.

  • Most jewelry is handcrafted to order and requires approximately 1 to 8 weeks for production.
  • Ready-to-Ship pieces typically ship within 2–3 business days after your order is received and processed.

  • Returned jewels must be unworn, in pristine condition, and in original packaging.

Current Production Times

For pieces outside our Ready-to-Ship collection, most jewelry production is estimated at 1–8 weeks. Some items with minimal customization may be ready within approximately one week.

Each piece is crafted by hand with care and intention. While we strive to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, if you need your jewelry by a specific date, please contact us in advance at info@delphineleymarie.com or call 212.537.5769 to confirm availability.

Important: Choosing expedited shipping ensures faster delivery once your order ships. It does not guarantee immediate shipment unless the item is part of the Ready-to-Ship collection.

Weekend & Holiday Orders

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships so you can follow its journey.

Shipping Policy

Most of our jewels are crafted to order in our Manhattan studio, so please allow 1–8 weeks for delivery depending on the piece, unless you order from the Ready-to-Ship collection.

A minimum shipping and handling fee of $10 applies to all domestic orders. We cannot ship to Post Office Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

We ship using fully insured USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or UPS. If you require expedited shipping or prefer a different carrier, please contact orders@delphineleymarie.com.

Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer. Delphine Leymarie cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.

Delphine Leymarie is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances beyond our control.

Sales Tax

Orders placed through our website checkout, Shop Pay, or PayPal:
New Jersey sales tax (6.625%) will be applied to orders shipped to addresses within New Jersey, as required by law. No other state sales tax will be charged when checking out directly through our website.

Orders placed through the SHOP app:
If you complete your purchase using the SHOP app, applicable sales tax for the delivery state will be automatically collected by Shopify.

The SHOP app operates as a marketplace facilitator, and under U.S. tax laws marketplace facilitators must collect and remit sales tax for applicable states. This tax collection is determined and processed by Shopify, and we do not control these rates.

Important: Orders placed with Shop Pay on our website are not subject to marketplace-facilitated tax collection. These rules apply only when ordering directly through the SHOP app.

Return & Exchange Policy

Customer satisfaction is important to us. We accept eligible returns within fourteen (14) days of the date you receive your order.

Sale items, discounted jewels, and custom or personalized orders are final sale.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange, the jewel must be:

  • Completely unworn
  • In pristine, original condition
  • Free from scratches, wear, damage, residue, or signs of use
  • Unaltered and not resized, cleaned, or modified by any jeweler other than Delphine Leymarie
  • Returned in the original packaging including any accompanying items such as chains, pouches, certificates, or gift materials
  • Any protective seals, tags, or packaging must remain intact and untampered

Items that do not meet these standards will not be accepted.

Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom orders are final sale. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Made-to-order pieces
  • Engravings
  • Personalized gemstone selections
  • Design modifications
  • Bespoke creations

How to Start a Return

Before shipping anything back, please email orders@delphineleymarie.com with your invoice number.

If your request is received after the 14-day window, you will be eligible for store credit only.

Once approved we will provide:

  • Return instructions
  • A Return Authorization Number (RA#)
  • The correct return address

Returns sent without an RA# may be refused.

Shipping Your Return

Returned jewels must be shipped using a trackable and insured method.

Delphine Leymarie is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or delayed in transit.

Inspection & Refunds

All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt. Delphine Leymarie reserves the sole right to determine whether returned merchandise meets the eligibility requirements for return.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment once the return is approved and processed. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

International Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and customs fees.

Returned items must be declared as “Returned Merchandise” on customs forms. Failure to do so may result in additional charges which will be deducted from the refund amount.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at orders@delphineleymarie.com.

Orders may be canceled or modified within 48 hours of purchase provided we have not begun production.

If work has already started, a partial refund may be issued depending on the status of the piece.

Repairs

We use fine materials and carefully inspect every piece before shipment. Our jewelry is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period of three (3) months from the date of purchase.

During this period we may repair or replace, at our discretion, any item deemed defective without labor or material charges. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, exposure to chemicals, or repairs performed by third parties are not covered under this warranty.

Proof of purchase must accompany any item submitted for warranty evaluation. Shipping charges may apply.

After the three-month warranty period, we are happy to repair your jewelry for reasonable labor, materials, and shipping fees. A quote will always be provided for your approval before any work begins.

If your shipment arrives damaged or in unacceptable condition, please contact orders@delphineleymarie.com promptly so we can assist you.

Jewelry Care

Delphine Leymarie designs fine jewelry handcrafted in Fairmined gold, recycled gold, and recycled sterling silver.

To preserve the beauty of your jewelry, store each piece carefully in its pouch or box and avoid exposure to perfume, hair products, lotions, household chemicals, and abrasive surfaces.

We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping. Clean gently with a soft cloth as needed.

Natural gemstones may contain internal inclusions and characteristics formed during their creation. These natural features are part of each stone’s individuality and do not constitute defects, but they may influence how a gemstone responds to impact, pressure, or everyday wear.

Payments

Prices displayed are in U.S. dollars. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and check. Orders paid by check will not be processed until the check has cleared.

Security

All credit card transactions on this site are processed using Shopify or PayPal. These secure payment gateways encrypt your card details in a secure host environment. Delphine Leymarie does not store your credit card information.

Custom & Bespoke Jewelry

Delphine Leymarie offers bespoke and custom jewelry created in close collaboration with each client. Each piece is sculpted and crafted specifically for the individual who commissions it.

Because these jewels are made especially for you, all custom, personalized, and bespoke orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
