COVID-19 Process Update


On behalf of the Delphine Leymarie team, I want to thank you for your continued support, we couldn’t appreciate you more, and hope you’re all staying healthy and safe.

Thank you for checking in on me, your many words of encouragement, and your continued patience with your orders as we navigate this changing and challenging new reality. We certainly feel the love, and hope you know that you are love(d).

Here is some information about how we are adapting to COVID-19 and how it's affected crafting the jewels for you in NYC. Here are the highlights:

As of late July, the jewelry district in Manhattan is partially reopened, after a full closure during shelter-in-place orders, as we were deemed non-essential businesses. Our production team is working mostly remotely, in a somewhat limited capacity. By that I mean that production time now involves some back-and-forth shipping so jewels can get hand carved in my home studio, cast at another location, polished and set in house or at a third location, causing a delay compared to normal production times when crafting new pieces not currently in stock. 

While our physical location is closed, the website is open and taking orders. We have an ample selection of items in stock and a new READY TO SHIP section is now available in the main menu.

Order for items not included in the Ready to Ship section will be processed in the order they are received, fabricated at our current slower production pace, and shipped following our new protocol outlined next.

We are taking our community's health, and yours, very seriously, and have implemented wearing gloves and thoroughly sanitizing jewelry prior to shipping, in addition to taking regular breaks for hand washing while crafting the jewels for you.

Due to our team operating remotely, and to minimize potential exposure to Covid-19 in such a densely populated area as New York City is, orders will be shipped out once a week. At the moment, we have been informed that Fedex and USPS are only able to deliver packages Monday through Friday. All orders placed during the weekend, or on a national holiday, will be processed the following week.

As usual, you will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order has shipped.
