BOHEME TURQUOISE MATTE OCTOPUS CHARM
The Boheme La Pieuvre Octopus charm was born of Delphine’s deep love for the beach, its seas and oceans, and their ecosystems. The color changing octopus symbolizes intelligence, resourcefulness and adaptability, as well as inner wisdom, intuition and healing.
To help protect the octopus' natural habitat, and our planet, 5% of sales proceeds of this jewel will be donated to Big Blue & You, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and educating youth about ocean conservation through arts, science and media.
Hand carved by Delphine then cast in 18k recycled gold, The Octopus is polished to a soft brushed finish for a “sunken treasure washed on a distant shore” texture.
A bit rough, but still precious. Delphine's idea of everyday luxe, jewels well lived in and showing the many adventures you’ve taken with them. Reminding you of the many more to come.
The octopus's 8 arms lovingly hug a gorgeous turquoise bead (12mm) the color of soothing tropical seas, a gemstone used since antiquity across many continents and culture for protection and healing,
The bottom of the bead is finished with a solid bead in 18k yellow gold to symbolize the sun radiating through the turquoise.
A reminder that turquoise is a porous gem, and that it is best to keep it away from liquids, lotions and perfumes that could damage it.

B I G B L U E & Y O U in their own words:
Big Blue & You is the only ocean conservation nonprofit to be founded and run by African American women and is a passionate proponent of intersectional environmentalism and decolonizing the natural world. For the past 13 years, the organization has supported emerging conservationists — especially young women of color — and connected young leaders with STEAM resources to help them become ocean advocates. We believe that equitable access to outdoor spaces is critical to engaging BIPOC communities and that people must experience what they are asked to protect. www.bigblueandyou.org
